“A combination of Fight Club and Catcher in the Rye.” This (and the cool title) was enough to peak my interest in Bad Monkeys. As mentioned in previous posts, I’m not much for fiction, but this thriller by Matt Ruff was a great foray into the genre. Sheer entertainment with sentences that grip you in suspense. If you were lucky/generous enough to pre-order Seth Godin’s Linchpin, you were rewarded with a great book and the priceless feeling of contributing to an exceptional cause. Either of these, alone, would be enough to make my day. So imagine my surprise when I find an additional copy of the Linchpin resting in my mailbox. All of the books I pre-ordered months ago arrived within days of each other. So I’ve got much to read before I get around to it but a review is coming soon.
Got the book? What do you think?
