pro athlete screw-ups

Ever since the Michael Vick situation, I’ve grown to have a serious bias towards pro athletes that “screw-up” off the court/field. True, Vick put himself in a situation that caused him to get caught up in the system and ended up having to serve his time. The fact that he had to serve time was stupid though. Dogs are apparently worth more than humans this day in age. I come to that conclusion after the Donte Stallworth DUI incident. This man kills someone and serves 24 days in jail while Vick serves 23 months for involvement in a dog fighting ring. Does this really make sense? If it does to anyone out there, then your head is screwed up just as much as these pro athletes that commit these acts.

I was once asked what kind of punishment I think Diana Taurasi should receive for her 3 DUI charges in one act. With confidence I said she should be suspended for at least most of the season that remains. Imagine if she would have hit your relative or friend while she was driving drunk. Can anyone tell me what her punishment was? Why not make an example of these types of offenses instead of dog fighting. I give a damn about a dog when compared to an innocent humans life. That’s why my angry fist is shaking!!!
